Sir, I was an advisor assigned to Team 70, 5/70-4/71. I advised the 4th Bn, 9th Regt, 5th ARVN Div (Infantry). I served in An Loc, Quan Loi, Chon Thanh and Lai Khe during my tour, in addition to the invasion of Cambodia. My respect for the soldiers of the 4/9 is beyond description. My one recollection of the soldiers is of Sergeant Tao, the S-3 NCO and interpreter. I hope he survived the war and occupation. My heart is with the advisors who served and guided the war effort in III Corps.
